King Me Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the King Me app, offered by Jose Antonio Guerrero Avilés (AGApps Studio) («we», «us»). By installing or using the app you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use it.

1. What King Me is

King Me is a daily competitive game: a new maze is published every day, the same one for the whole world, and players compete to complete it in the shortest time. There is a world ranking and, over that same maze, another one filtered to the players of your country. The service is provided as available at any given moment and requires an internet connection.

2. Your account

• You need an account to play. You can create one as a guest or with Google.
• You are responsible for the activity that takes place on your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use King Me.
• Your player name is visible to other players. Your profile photo is the one from your Google account and starts hidden: it is only shown if you choose to show it. Neither may be offensive, impersonate anyone, or infringe third-party rights. We may remove or change a name or image that breaks this rule.
• You can close your account whenever you like from Settings → Account → Delete account. This is permanent and irreversible.

3. Fair play

The competition is the only thing holding this game up, so we protect it seriously. You may not:

• Modify the app, or use automated emulators, macros, bots or any tool that plays for you or alters your results.
• Tamper with your device clock, intercept or forge communication with our servers, or submit results that do not come from a real run.
• Use multiple accounts to distort the rankings, or sell, buy or share accounts.
• Attempt to access other players' data or parts of the service not meant for you.
• Misuse reporting: reporting someone who has done nothing — out of spite, because you lost, or to get a rival's name hidden — or writing abusive content in the report itself.

All results are validated on our servers. If we detect a breach we may void the affected results, strip positions and reigns obtained, and suspend or delete the account, depending on severity. Purchases attached to an account sanctioned for cheating are not refunded.

4. Purchases

• Purchases go through Google Play, which processes the payment. We never receive your payment details.
• Money never buys skill or competitive advantage. The only thing on sale is ad removal, which does not improve your time or your position.
• Ad removal is a permanent purchase tied to your account. If the purchase is refunded, the product is revoked: ads come back.
• Refunds are governed by Google Play policies. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you keep the rights granted to you by applicable law.
• If you delete your account you lose access to what you bought. You can restore ad removal on a new account from the in-game store, as long as the platform still recognises your receipt.

5. Advertising

The free version shows ads. They never appear during a run and never interrupt the timer. You can remove them through the corresponding purchase.

6. Intellectual property

The app, its code, graphics, sound and name belong to Jose Antonio Guerrero Avilés (AGApps Studio) and are protected by intellectual property law. King Me is not open source software: you are granted a personal, limited, revocable and non-transferable licence to use the app, and nothing more. You may not copy, decompile, redistribute it or create derivative works.

Your player name remains yours. By choosing it you authorise us only to display it inside the game to other players, which is its purpose. We do not host your profile photo: it is the one from your Google account, served from Google's own servers, and only while you choose to show it.

7. Availability and changes

We make reasonable efforts to keep the game available, but we do not guarantee it will run without interruption or error. We may modify, suspend or discontinue the service or any of its features. If a shutdown were permanent, we would give you reasonable notice inside the app.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of progress or lost profits arising from your use of the game. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, nor any rights you have as a consumer.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence and may bring proceedings before the courts assigned to you by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date in the header indicates the version in force and, when a change is significant, we will tell you inside the app.
